  • 1 tablespoon vanilla bean paste (or 1 vanilla bean pod, split and scraped)

Instructions

  • In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the sugar and water. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  • Remove the saucepan from the heat and add the vanilla bean paste (or the scraped vanilla bean pod).
  • Let the mixture steep for several hours to infuse the vanilla flavor.
  • Strain the syrup into a jar or bottle.
  • Store it tightly sealed in the refrigerator for up to one month.
